Stoakley-Stewart Consultants adheres to a strong professional and personal code of ethics that has solidified our reputation as a firm of great professionalism, integrity, commitment, and positive results. We are members in long standing of the Association of Canadian Staffing, Employment and Search Services (ACSESS), Canada’s only professional organization for staffing firms. Only 15% of the 2,000-odd agencies in this country can make this claim. Additionally, through ACSESS certification, many of our experienced and committed recruiting experts are also Certified Personnel Consultants (CPC).
We are also a decorated member of the NPAworldwide. Here’s how our membership in this exclusive network is YOUR competitive advantage when you partner with US. NPAworldwide consists of a group of over 400 national and international recruiting firms, located in 18 countries on 6 continents, selected for their strong ethical commitment to the recruiting process. All approved firms operate under the strictest confidentiality policies so that the exchange of both employment opportunities and excellent candidates can be achieved with the utmost assurance of privacy and positive results. Our firm has received dozens of prestigious “Top Producer” awards from NPAworldwide in recognition of our recruiters’ excellence, successful placements, and consistently high achievement.
The Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation (CITT) is Canada’s foremost professional development association in the supply chain and logistics sector. Their programs and services promote excellence and career path development for transportation logisticians by offering:
• Professional certification
• Professional development
• Cooperative networking opportunities
We are proud and long standing members of the Canadian International Freight Forwarding Association (CIFFA). CIFFA was founded September 1948 in Montreal by a small group of freight forwarders who saw a need to create an industry association to meet the professional demands of its members. Their mission is to represent and support members of the Canadian international freight forwarding industry in providing the highest level of quality and professional services to their clients. Stoakley-Stewart is proud to support and have been a member of CIFFA for over a decade.
The Toronto Construction Association (TCA), or the General Builders’ Society as it was called then, was founded in February 1867 by a group of 58 Canadian construction industry executives. The association’s mandate in those early days was to promote the highest possible standards of professionalism in an industry characterized by stiff competition and often razor thin margins. Two of our expert construction recruitment consultants, Magda Salem and Valerie Yuricek, are members of the TCA and active in their many events while keeping their fingers on the pulse of the industry.
We are very proud to have been closely affiliated with the Canadian Courier & Logistics Association (CCLA) since 2005 and actively serving many of its member organizations since 2002.
Of significant note would be the major impact we have had on the Association as a result of the successful culmination of a mandate awarded to us by the Board in 2006. Upon recommendations from the membership as well as direct referrals from board members Stoakley-Stewart was called upon to identify the next Executive Director of the CCLA. We are proud to say that David Turnbull (former Minister of Transport) remains, to this day, at the helm of this esteemed association.
