POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  Our client is an established, International company involved in global conferencing.  They need a Conference Producer to specialize in the pharmaceutical arena.  You will be expected to produce 10 conferences per year.  There is a possibility of being involved in overseas conferences.  You must have experience in pharmaceutical industry conference production from early stage analysis into subject matter, developing conference theme, hiring speakers, supporting the sponsorship sales team, etc.  Equivalent experience (marketing, advertising, exhibits, etc.) may also be considered.  Should have developed strong interviewing skills, the ability to conduct insightful business research, experience in writing about current business issues, strong work ethic and focus on tough deadlines.

SALARY RANGE:    $40,000 to $45,000 plus bonus and profit sharing
QUALIFICATIONS: 1 – 2 years in conference development and management
EDUCATION:  B.A. in arts, journalism or business preferred
