EXPERIENCE:  In order to be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 7 years experience in selling avionics and heavy aircraft maintenance and related installation and commissioning services to commercial aircraft operators in the Americas and overseas.  You have a history of developing new clients and consistently meeting or exceeding quota.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: With over 50 years of repairing, modifying, and refinishing regional aircraft, our client is Canada's largest full-service support organization.  Their teams of highly trained professionals conduct heavy checks, airframe structural repairs and modifications, and exterior and interior refurbishments in addition to providing a comprehensive array of avionics and aircraft engineering services.

They have engaged our services to find an experienced Sales Representative/Technical Sales Manager to assume responsibility for generating avionics sales to the tune of $2 Million plus a year.  The successful applicant will be expected to grow the business with existing customers, develop new ones, and exploit niche markets.  A “hunter” mentality is required, and frequent travel throughout the defined territory will be necessary.  Although the majority of sales have historically come from North America, this client is also building business in South America, Europe and the Far East.

SALARY RANGE:    Base $70 - $80K plus annual bonus.
QUALIFICATIONS: Polished presentation and demeanor, verbal and written communications skills.  Extensive knowledge of aircraft operators, OEMs and related suppliers.
EDUCATION:  Engineering degree or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma.
