Deborah boasts over 20 years’ experience as a senior manager in the staffing industry (in Canada and the USA). Highly respected in the profession, Deborah has four times received the “Consulting Excellence Award” from the National Personnel Association, and has earned their “Quality Circle of Excellence” designation.
Little did anyone know that Deborah Milo’s entrance into the world of recruiting in 1984 would herald the beginning of a career that could be characterized by such continuous and prolific success. Working for one of the largest generalist staffing firms in the world, Deborah soon came to be directly responsible for 4 branches in South Western Ontario.
Having made a significant name for herself, Deborah’s expertise was much sought after. Her next step saw her accepting a senior management role in the Western New York area with a large financial specialist recruiting firm. Deborah went on to develop a team of approximately 50 employees to the point where each month they were billing in excess of $1M in permanent placement fees. Such a consistently large number of successful placements is often only a dream for many in this industry.
Early in 1999 the time came for Deborah to return to Canada. The big question was “Where was the best place for Deborah to hang her hat?” After an extensive study of the organizations interested in her talent she chose Stoakley-Stewart Consultants for its long-tenured, unwavering devotion to client satisfaction. Deborah has gone on to be an award winning consultant within the recruiting profession. She received the NPAworldwide (National Personnel Association) Consulting Excellence award in 2000, 2001, 2004 and 2005. She received the NPAworldwide Bronze Target Award in 2000, the Silver Target in 2001 and the Top Producer Award for Stoakley-Stewart in 2002, 2004 and 2005.
As seemingly impossible as it seems, Deborah continues to achieve greater and greater success each and every year. Deborah is seen amongst her clients, colleagues and competitors alike as the expert in the industries in which she practices. She is called upon to fill positions in these industries that run from shop floor production through to CEO. Often those calling are competitors who just can’t seem to locate that perfect candidate for their most challenging clients.
